We’re not a franchise and we’re not a call centre. Our technicians are TSSA-licensed gas fitters and certified Trane Comfort Specialists, and we pay for the training that gets them there. Apprentice to lead installer, service technician to Home Comfort Advisor: we’d rather build that path with you than watch you leave to find it somewhere else.

It depends on the role. Our lead HVAC installers have needed a G2 gas licence, an ODP certificate and a valid driver’s licence, with a 313D refrigeration licence preferred and three or more years of residential installation experience. Senior service technicians have needed a G2 gas licence, a 313D licence and five or more years of HVAC service experience. We also train apprentices. Learn more about Donaldson Home Services.
